| :( :( Tonight I was minding my own business logging into my email. Then in my quiet neighborhood I heard a lot of yelling by a man! Of course with all of the crazy things happening to woman lately especially in Maryland (setting a wife on fire and killing woman on her b-day) I pay attention. Well I saw a young couple sitting in a car and he was doing the yelling (loud) at her. I then heard a loud noise. He HIT her and she was crying. This young lady lives with her parents. They live on the second floor closer to the parking lot than me If I heard it I know they must not be home. She was crying and rocking back and forth in the car in pain. Then he backed up in the car and spead off. I feel so sorry for this young girl. However, I am mad at what I saw. Ladies I have never been in this situation ( I have six older brothers that box) should I go knock on her parents door to tell them or at least inform them when I see them? Or Should I speak to the young lady?? I need your help. I wanted to call the police but he got away. Ok ladie again what do you suggest :?: |

| I would tell her parents just in case they dont know whats going on. If something really happen to her at least they are aware weather they take action or not. If she loves him she make deny it. However ask them not to put your name in. People can really vicious if they feel you are all up in their business. |

I also live in Maryland and I'm familiar with both cases that you stated in your post. If it were me, I would tell her parents because they may not be aware of what is happening to their daughter. Women that are abuse find ways to cover up things like that and make excuses for there abuser. I wouldn't feel right if I just didn't do anything and I would want someone to step in if that was happening to my daughter.

Ladies I had to post an update...I saw one of the neighbors yesterday and asked her did she hear the fight outside her window. She asked what fight there was not a fight :? . She said there was some loud shouting but there were not any hits passed. I asked about the punching noise(s), she said the noise I heard was not him beating the young lady up. It was the young lady slamming her head against the dash board of the car (HERSELF). He was shouting to her go get out of his car. The guy removed himself from the car because he saw the neighbors watching to let US know he was not hitting her so he would not go to jail (smart move)!
I was expecting to see a slightly deformed young lady yesterday when she walked by us  Her forehead looked OK to me and the neighbor. Ladies thanks for your replies about this subject. Sounds like a scene from the movie Love Don't Cost a Thing  |

| The neighbor is probably her friend. I would report it too! That girl does not have to take that! Some women want it the hard way! |
